Job summary

Venti Technologies seeks a Data & AI Engineering Intern to join our autonomous driving team. You will tackle data-governance challenges for massive fleet test data using AI technologies like LLMs and AI Agents.

You will help build automated data pipelines, internal platforms, and dashboards to accelerate iteration and validation of autonomous driving systems.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing BS/MS/PhD in CS, Software Engineering, Robotics or related field.
• Strong Python programming skills and Linux/Ubuntu experience.
• Basic SQL and database concepts knowledge.
• Curious, fast learner with passion for autonomous driving.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and extract driving scenarios and edge cases from vehicle logs.
• Build and maintain automated ETL scripts for large test datasets.
• Develop internal dashboards and visualize test metrics for the team.
• Explore AI agents/bots to assist data analysis and scenario generalization.

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and driven Data & AI Engineering Intern to join our autonomous driving team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our data loop/flywheel, solving complex data-governance challenges for massive fleet test data using cutting-edge AI technologies (such as LLMs and AI Agents). You will play a key role in building highly efficient automated data pipelines and full-stack internal platforms, directly empowering the rapid iteration and validation of our autonomous driving systems.

Role Responsibilities

• AV Scenario Data Mining: Assist in analyzing and extracting critical driving scenarios and edge cases from vehicle log data (e.g., sensor feeds, speed, trajectories).


• Data Pipeline Support: Help build and maintain automated scripts (ETL) to parse, clean, and organize massive amounts of test data.


• Internal Tool Development: Assist in maintaining and developing basic features for our internal web dashboards (e.g., visualizing test metrics or scenario statistics).


• AI Agent Exploration: Under the guidance of your mentor, explore using AI agents/bots to perform automated data analysis and assist in scenario generalization.

Required Experience

• students studying BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.


• Solid Python programming skills and comfort working in a Linux/Ubuntu environment.


• Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.


• Strong logical thinking, a passion for autonomous driving, and a fast learner.

Bonus Experience

• Basic experience with backend web development (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django).


• Basic understanding of frontend development (e.g., React, Vue.js) or visualization tools.


• Curiosity about or basic experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) or AI Agents.


• Familiarity with Git and Docker.
