Job summary

Alibaba Cloud is hiring an AI Infrastructure Engineer in Singapore to design and deliver AI-driven operations for the Database Autonomy Service (DAS). You will work across PolarDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB and other engines to make databases self-recoverable, performant and secure at scale.

You will lead the design and implementation of core modules, drive the AI-native transformation of DAS with autonomous agents, and own features end-to-end including on-call rotation, incident

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a closely related discipline.
• 2+ years of backend engineering experience, working on databases, AI applications, agentic systems, operations platforms, or comparable infrastructure products.
• Proven ability to lead design and implementation of core modules or system-level architectures with a track record of robust software.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration with upstream and downstream teams to define roadmaps and deliver on shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship features for the Database Autonomy Service (DAS) across multiple engines.
• Drive AI-native transformations by exploring AI Agent technologies and autonomous operations agents.
• Own the full lifecycle of features, including on-call rotation, incident diagnosis, and performance optimization.
