Automotive Technology Leadership & Program Manager
Project description Luxoft is a leading provider of software development services and innovative IT solutions to a global client base primarily consisting of large multinational corporations in the Automotive, Financial Services, and Digital Enterprise (Telco, Healthcare, Media, Manufacturing, etc.) industries. We are seeking a management professional with experience in matrix organizations to fulfill two roles: 1. Engineering program management, leading engineering teams to deliver projects on time, with quality and within budget. 2. Domain Chapter Lead for a growing cluster of automotive software development experts, focusing on people management, technology skill development, and regional team growth.
Development and maintenance of generic software modules for both classic AUTOSAR and adaptive AUTOSAR, integrated into 30+ ECUs from various Tier1 & Tier2 suppliers, supporting OEM-specific diagnostics and enhanced functionalities. Our AUTOSAR solutions include Ethernet Diagnostics, Remote Software Update, Snapshot Recorder, Crowd Data Collector, Diagnostics Response Handler, Onboard Diagnostics Manager, Emission Diagnostics Control Handler, and more.
Responsibilities
- Program Management: Establish and develop engineering teams (local and distributed), oversee multiple project deliveries, support business growth, and ensure project health through planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to build centers of expertise in automotive offerings such as in-vehicle platforms, HMI, and telematics.
- Domain Chapter Lead: Drive initiatives for domain expertise development, build and oversee clusters of automotive professionals globally, and manage leadership and career development for team members.
- Manage day-to-day activities including goal setting, planning, estimating, and problem resolution.
- Maintain close relationships with stakeholders to ensure transparent collaboration.
- Lead local engineering team setup from scratch, including hiring, training, and resource management.
Skills
- Must have: Automotive OEM experience, project management skills, technical expertise in automotive software development, knowledge of ASPICE and Agile processes, strong communication, and people management skills. AUTOSAR classic experience is essential.
- Nice to have: Embedded Linux, additional programming languages.
