Job summary

Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited in Singapore is seeking a technician for the New Car Logistics department to perform installation, testing, maintenance, and repair to meet customer requirements and manufacturers’ specs. Responsibilities include pre-delivery inspections, installation of automotive accessories, electrical work, diagnostics, fault rectification, and ensuring roadworthiness.

A NITEC in Automotive Technology with 2–3 years of related experience, plus a Class 3 license and good

Qualifications

NITEC in Automotive Technology or related discipline
2-3 years of relevant experience in automotive quality control or service and repair
Possess a valid Class 3 driving license
Basic command of English (both verbal and written)
Team player with initiative and a positive attitude towards learning

Responsibilities

Perform pre-delivery inspections in accordance with manufacturer’s checklist prior to customer delivery
Familiar with automotive accessories installation and PDI processes
Able to perform electrical installation jobs and troubleshooting/rectification of installation problems
Able to carry out medium to complex diagnostics works as assigned by Superior
Determine cause of the fault and its rectification
Carry out optimum quality check on all vehicles before delivery
Ensure all vehicles are road worthy within manufacturer standard & specification
Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time
