We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Sales Manager / Business Development to lead a sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing the daily operations of a sales team, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and meeting the desired key performance indicators. This role requires deep knowledge of the automotive market.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
Supervise, train, and support sales staff to maximize performance and customer satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze sales metrics, market trends, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Driving long-term revenue growth beyond showroom sales.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding vehicle sales and dealership operations.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and dealership events.
Oversee inventory management and coordinate with finance and service departments.
Handle escalated customer issues and negotiate deals to close sales.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
Recruit and onboard new sales staff as needed.
Job Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Business Marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record and experience as a sales Manager or business development or senior sales role in the automotive industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of automotive products, market dynamics, and customer preferences.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Manage inventory and ensure product availability.
Ensure compliance with dealership compliance.
Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
