Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd invites applications for a Mechanic role based in Woodlands, Singapore. You will perform servicing, maintenance, inspection, and repair to ensure safe operation and reliability of vehicles.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of automotive experience, hands-on QMS exposure, and may hold a Class 3 Driving License. Strong communication and report-writing skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience as Mechanic in any automotive.
• Experience with hands-on experience QMS management in automotive engineering, or practical in product inspection.
• Class 3 Driving License is added advantage.
• Good communication and written skills for customer correspondence and report writing.
• Knowledge of ISO 22301 and ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance, inspection, and repair of vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Carry out repairs and replacement of engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, cooling, and exhaust components.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and identify potential vehicle problems before major breakdowns occur.
• Perform engine oil, filter, battery, brake, tyre, and fluid checks and replacements.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to verify repairs and ensure proper vehicle performance.
• Troubleshoot and rectify vehicle faults efficiently while following workshop procedures and manufacturer specifications.
