Job summary

MDI ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a skilled technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy vehicles such as lorries and trucks to ensure safe operation.

You will perform testing, preventive maintenance, and comply with regulatory standards across multiple sites, with flexibility for weekends/public holidays. Forklift licensing is an advantage and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in automotive servicing and repair.
• Forklift licence is an added advantage.
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect heavy vehicles to identify faults and perform troubleshooting to diagnose issues accurately.
• Conduct testing and diagnosis of vehicle systems to determine repair needs.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance and servicing to maintain vehicle reliability and safety.
• Ensure all repair and maintenance work complies with regulatory requirements, technical specifications, and company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment to support operational efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete assigned tasks effectively.
• Adapt to work at different sites and during weekends or public holidays as required.
