XG Tech PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Image Algorithm Engineer to develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for automotive applications, including DMS, AVM, and Sentry, with emphasis on on-device performance.

You will tailor lightweight vision models for embedded platforms, explore VLM/LLM and agent-based tools, and deploy optimizations on edge chips to meet latency and power targets. The role involves data pipelines, model training and deployment, and collaborating to advance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CV algorithm development, plus automotive cockpit experience (e.g., DMS/OMS/IMS).
• Strong knowledge of object detection, keypoint detection, segmentation, tracking and DL frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Hands-on model training, optimization, and deployment on embedded platforms.
• Experience with VLM/LLM applications, multimodal models, fine-tuning, or on‑device inference optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for automotive applications, including DMS, AVM, Sentry, and privacy features.
• Design lightweight vision algorithms for embedded automotive platforms with low compute and latency constraints.
• Build end-to-end vision data pipeline: data collection, annotation, cleaning, augmentation, training, deployment, iteration.
• Explore cockpit-driving integration: in-cabin perception, external sensing, and vehicle decision-making.
• Develop VLM/LLM-powered automotive apps, including visual intent understanding and real-time extraction.
• Explore AI Agents for proactive decision-making and context-aware interaction.
• Deploy and optimize VLM/LLM models on automotive edge chips, including model compression and heterogeneous computing.
