Job summary

A leading engineering company in Singapore is looking for skilled technicians to maintain and repair ground support equipment. The role requires expertise in MRO maintenance and the ability to work independently. Candidates must possess an automotive or GSE maintenance qualification and a Class 5 driving license. Shift work including weekends and public holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Expertise in maintenance of GSE & airport vehicles.
• Ability to assess reports and identify spare parts.
• Possess Class 5 driving license.

Job description

1. Expertise in MRO Maintenance, repairs & services, in particular for GSE & airport vehicles & similar equipment.

2. Expertise on different systems (diesel/electronics/hydraulics/mechanical etc

3. Maintenance expertise in component back shops as well as in operating modern maintenance workbay with use of test equipment and maintenance manual & computerized maintenance management systems

4. In general, technical crew to assess the reports correctly. Identify required spares, carryout inspections, servicing, tests, operating procedures, or part replacements identified, in a correct manner for quality, safe & productive job completion

Requirements

1. able to work independently/their teams/ teams with SAS staff.

2. Technicians qualified with automotive or GSE suitable industrial equipment maintenance tradesman

3. Able to manage & follow up the knowledge & skills specific to SAS equipment.

4. Possess Class 5 driving license

5. Shift work – working day will depends on schedule/roster

6. 6 days a week including Public Holidays & weekend if scheduled

7. Shift hours – (i) 0700 – 1530 (ii) 1500-2300 (iii) 2200-0800
