Job summary

Infosys Singaporeand Australia is seeking an Automation Tester to design, develop, and execute automated tests ensuring quality and performance across web, mobile, and API apps in a Singapore location.

The role requires hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium, strong programming skills, and familiarity with CI/CD tooling. You will work within an Agile team, contributing to test plans, reports, and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience in API test automation using REST Assured, Postman, or Karate.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Git and test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail.

Responsibilities

• Develop,maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and best practices.
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create effective test plans.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure consistent execution across environments.
• Identifydefects, document findings, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis for automation failures andoptimizescripts for reliability.
• Prepare andmaintaindetailed test reports, dashboards, and documentation.
• Participatein Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
