Job summary

Ikas International (Asia) Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Software Tester to perform Functional, System Integration, Regression, and UAT for Banking Risk applications in Singapore. You will analyse requirements, create test scenarios, and validate ETL processes with strong SQL and data reconciliation expertise.

The role requires hands-on experience with Java automation frameworks, CI/CD tools, and scripting in Python/Bash, operating within Agile teams to deliver quality software solutions.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in Software Testing, preferably within Banking or Financial Services.
• Hands-on experience with ETL Testing, data validation, and data reconciliation.
• Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server and advanced SQL/T-SQL.
• Experience with Java automation frameworks (JUnit/TestNG, Maven/Gradle).
• Exposure to Java/Spark applications and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Git and scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform Functional, System Integration, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Banking Risk applications.
• Analyse business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Validate ETL processes, perform data reconciliation, and execute source-to-target data validation.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to analyse and validate large datasets.
• Execute automation testing using Java-based frameworks for data processing applications.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, and support teams to resolve defects and ensure successful project delivery.
• Support production issues, change requests, and application enhancements.
• Maintain test documentation and ensure high standards of data quality throughout the testing lifecycle.
