Job summary

Anradus Pte Ltd is actively recruiting an Automation Software Engineer (PLC Programming) to join our manufacturing automation team. The role focuses on developing machine control software, robot control, and vision-based inspection systems for general-purpose machinery.

The successful candidate will support installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation activities, design circuit aspects for full-line control systems, and provide on-site troubleshooting and technical leadership for

Qualifications

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in machine control software design and development.
• Proficient in PLC programming using platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Omron, or Beckhoff.
• Knowledge of C# or SECS/GEM is an advantage.
• Experience in designing and troubleshooting servo and motion control systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation software for machine control, robot control, and vision inspection systems.
• Support control-system installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation activities.
• Assist with circuit design for full-line machine control systems.
• Manage automation projects or assigned project modules.
• Set up machines and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Provide on-site support for automation equipment.
• Travel overseas when required.
• Provide timely updates on project progress, key issues, and critical matters to management, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Resolve technical issues involving equipment, processes, and materials.
• Ensure issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
• Develop high-performance vision algorithms when required.
• Complete FAT and SAT for new customised machines within project timelines.
• Follow established processes, procedures, and systems.
• Meet customer requirements and project timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop automation software for machine control, robot control, and vision inspection systems.

• Support control-system installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation activities.

• Assist with circuit design for full-line machine control systems.

• Manage automation projects or assigned project modules.

• Set up machines and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Provide on-site support for automation equipment.

• Travel overseas when required.
