Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a software engineer to contribute to incremental improvements and bug fixes in our automation projects. You will analyze customer issues, implement solutions within existing machine applications, and assist with engineering change requests.

You will test new releases, work with version control tools, maintain engineering documentation, and travel to customer sites for beta testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree required in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
0–3 years in automation/equipment industries, with embedded software and HMI experience.
Experience with agile software development, QC and test-driven development.

Responsibilities

Incremental improvements/development of software modules for software support.
Analyze customer/production issues and implement solutions within the existing machine application (bug fixing).
Investigate and implement engineering change requests.
Testing of new releases by simulating processes and on actual equipment.
Work with version control tools and issue tracking tool for software release management.
Creates and maintains engineering documentations relating to software development / bug-fix / feature releases following company standards and design rules.
Ensure fast response to customer and production issues.
Provides engineering support to assigned R&D/CIT projects.
Install & (beta) test new software release/fix at customer sites (ability to travel needed)
