Job description

An exciting opportunity for a motivated Sales Engineer to drive growth in the Electronics, Assembly & Test (A&T) industries. The role focuses on identifying business opportunities, influencing OEM specifications, and delivering tailored automation solutions through technical and commercial expertise. This position requires close collaboration across sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure customer success and exceed sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and convert new sales opportunities within the Electronics and A&T segments

Engage with OEMs, system integrators, and end users to drive specification of automation solutions

Deliver technical presentations and communicate value propositions effectively

Manage quotations, proposals, and commercial negotiations end-to-end

Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product, supply chain) to implement customer solutions

Track and manage sales pipeline and performance through CRM tools

Achieve or exceed sales targets and performance KPIs

Contribute to the adoption of digital and hybrid sales engagement strategies

Gather and relay customer feedback for continuous improvement

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Process Engineering

Additional qualifications in Business or Technical Sales are advantageous

3-4 years of experience in solution-based or technical sales, preferably within the Electronics or A&T industries

Familiarity with automation components, systems, and applications

Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills

Strong collaborative mindset with a professional, proactive attitude

Ability to thrive in fast-paced, goal-oriented environments

Willingness to learn and grow in alignment with organizational goals
