This position reports to

Senior Project Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support medium to large automation projects, from functional design specifications and detailed engineering documentation through to implementation and testing. You will support in the design and implement applications using ABB’s 800xA and Symphony Plus systems in the energy Industries, providing both onsite and offsite support for the installed base. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division of ABB, Singapore. You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Participating in project technical design and clarification meetings.
2. Collaborating across different disciplines including Electrical, Software and Hardware.
3. Developing logical solutions to meet customer requirements and interface with multiple diverse systems.
4. Understanding and preparing FAT and SAT Test plans.
5. Supporting onsite and offsite system maintenance and service activities.

Qualifications for the role

• You are a fresh graduate of Electrical or Automation Engineering or have one or two years of experience.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge or some experience in DCS or PLC programming is preferable but not a must.
• You enjoy working in a dynamic and diversified team of engineers and specialists.
• You are at ease communicating in English.
• You hold work rights in Singapore.
