Job description

Role Overview:

  • Lead a team to maintain and support day to day manufacturing activities through real-time problem analysis and real-time solution implementation.

  • Resolve system, network, and equipment problems to improve and sustain present manufacturing production to minimize downtime and improve productivity and efficiency.

  • Work with customer closely to support new testers setup, new project / line launch, update technical reference, PM requirement and conduct periodically review and internal training to TS team for knowledge retention

  • Responsible for exist lines, testers, equipment and automation projects support, including master list update, PM, calibration, providing 1st level trouble shooting and repairing

  • Responsible for spare parts review and periodically top up maintenance , to keep production running smoothly and effectively

  • Work with suppliers for various quotes, training and support

  • Support various internal and customer audit, including 5S, process compliance, CCC, EHS and ISO

  • Actively involve and contribute to internal Kaizen project, new equipment introduction, new Automation projects implementation

  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned in accordance to business needs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • A degree or Diploma in Automation, Computer and/or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering

  • Prior experience in PLC related automation projects highly preferred

  • 2 years of relevant working experience in top level assembly manufacturing environment, EMS preferred

  • Diploma holder with more than 10 years related experience can be considered

  • Good communication skills to work with various people in the organization

  • A team player who will always look for the solution in a win-win fashion, without compromising on safety, cost and quality

  • A positive attitude and willing-to-learn, able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, Power BI / Python and/or any programming language is definitely a plus point.

Working Days / Hours:-

  • 8am – 5.30pm / 8.30am – 6pm [Mondays to Fridays]
