Job summary

Infineon Technologies Singapore offers an internship in its Operation Automation team. You will assist Automation Engineers with daily operation support on various factory automation equipment and contribute to data digitalization and analytics development.

The role provides exposure to Advanced Automation projects, including integration, testing, performance analysis and system safety, while offering hands-on experience in Industry 4.0 concepts and hardware development insights.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist automation engineers in day-to-day operation support on factory automation equipment (AMR, Robotic, OHT, AMHS, Auto-packing Equipment).
• Assist in digitalization of equipment operation data for performance monitoring.
• Assist in data analytics and development of hardware to improve automation equipment.
• Participate in Advanced Automation projects including integration, testing, performance analysis and operation runs.
