Automation Engineer (Machine Vision)

Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a results-driven machine vision support engineer based in Singapore/Malaysia. You will collaborate with sales and R&D to evaluate feasibility, conduct testing, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

You will relay product and technical requirements, support international exhibitions, prepare user guides, and assist overseas teams. Strong English and Mandarin skills, travel readiness, and a relevant engineering degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Automation, Mechatronics, Optoelectronics, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in machine vision, industrial automation, image processing, or related technical consulting roles.
• Solid foundation in optics and electronics; proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational, and communication skills, with a collaborative team mindset.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in English; Mandarin is required for effective communication with the China-based team.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and relay product and technical requirements to the R&D team, and follow up on customization projects.
• Manage after-sales RMA cases, including issue resolution and quality feedback analysis.
• Support overseas colleagues and customers through technical enablement, including preparing user guides, FAQs, and operation videos.
• Provide technical support for international exhibitions, including material coordination, system setup, debugging, and on-site assistance.
