Job Responsibilities:

  • Working with Process Engineers to develop an automation system to control the processes across the operational departments.
  • Choosing and programming a controller and establishing communication between the sensors, actuators (I/O) and controller.
  • Simulating, installing, testing and managing electrical or mechanical automation.
  • Monitoring the automation processes on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify new opportunities for automation within the manufacturing process and recommend automation solution.
  • Managing automation project, liaison with Process Engineer, customer and supplier.
  • Draft, finalise URS (User Requirement Specification).
  • Designing new automation equipment or processes
  • Prepare automation FAT, SAT, IOPQ and Engineering report
  • Troubleshooting automation processes or equipment when errors occur
  • Training of operation staffs after implementing new process or equipment or making changes to existing one.

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or Polytechnic Diploma in Mechatronic, Automation Process Control, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 3-5 years relevant working experience in automation field.
  • Working experience with knowledge in injection moulding field is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge but not limit to Process control systems analysis, design, system integration, digital/analogue control systems, robotics, CAD, pneumatic/electro-pneumatic systems, industrial data communication/data acquisition, vision system, industrial network.
