Job summary

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Design & Development:

   • Develop, program, and implement PLC, HMI based automation systems.

   • Design control systems and electrical schematics.

2. Implementation & Commissioning:

   • Associate Chief Engineer in system installation, testing, and commissioning.

   • Associate Chief Engineer in conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).

   • Troubleshoot automation systems.

3. Maintenance & Support:

   • Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and calibration.

   • Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

   • Provide technical support and training for customers’ operations teams.

4. Compliance & Documentation:

   • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and cybersecurity policies.

   • Maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, wiring diagrams, and software configurations.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• Experience: 1+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming.

  • Experience with Siemens PLC and HMI systems.

  • Knowing industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, OPC, MQTT).

  • Hands-on experience with electrical drawings, CAD software, and sensor integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Siemens TIA Portal or Step 7.

• Experience with SCADA software like WinCC.

• Knowledge of Python, C++, or Java for automation scripting.

• Understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and predictive maintenance.
