Position: Automation Engineer

Job Description:

We are currently expanding our team and are looking for a Automation Engineer on site with a client. In summary, you will be supporting in the designing, commissioning, or supporting PCS7 systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and provide commissioning support for PLC automation systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, primarily using PCS7.

• Collaborate with the automation team to design system hardware, control strategies, and library development.

• Ccreate and modify master recipes and library operations.

• Provide day-to-day operational support for automation systems in manufacturing.

• Investigate and resolve non-conformance (NC) issues and support Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance.

• Conduct field commissioning of automation equipment.

• Support system administration, maintenance, and validation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Prepare and maintain automation documentation in line with computer system validation (CSV) requirements.

Requirements:

• Min. 5 years of working experience in design, commissioning, or support of Siemens automation system in a GMP environment.

• Familiarity with automation hardware, networking technologies, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.

• Great team player. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to develop close working relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external contacts at all levels.
