Position: Automation Engineer
Job Description:
We are currently expanding our team and are looking for a Automation Engineer on site with a client. In summary, you will be supporting in the designing, commissioning, or supporting PCS7 systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and provide commissioning support for PLC automation systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, primarily using PCS7.
Collaborate with the automation team to design system hardware, control strategies, and library development.
Ccreate and modify master recipes and library operations.
Provide day-to-day operational support for automation systems in manufacturing.
Investigate and resolve non-conformance (NC) issues and support Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance.
Conduct field commissioning of automation equipment.
Support system administration, maintenance, and validation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Prepare and maintain automation documentation in line with computer system validation (CSV) requirements.
Requirements:
Min. 5 years of working experience in design, commissioning, or support of Siemens automation system in a GMP environment.
Familiarity with automation hardware, networking technologies, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Great team player. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to develop close working relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external contacts at all levels.
