Job summary

Cypress Assurance Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Audit Senior/Associate to execute audit procedures, perform detailed financial analysis, test internal controls, and assess compliance with applicable accounting standards.

You will obtain audit evidence, document observations in audit work papers, collaborate with engagement managers and team members, pursue self-development, and communicate findings clearly to clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent professional qualification.
• General knowledge of economic trends, technical and industry developments.
• Minimum 1 year of auditing or accounting experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for the Audit Associate role.
• Good time management and good documentation skills.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Display accountability and a spirit of teamwork.
• Demonstrate initiative.

Responsibilities

• Execute audit procedures in detailed financial analysis, testing internal controls, and assessing compliance with accounting standards.
• Identify significant accounting and auditing issues via engagements in the various industries.
• Obtain audit evidence and document observations in the audit work paper.
• Must be able to work with different engagement managers and team members.
• Awareness of self-development and self-enhancement of professional skill sets for career.
