A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced auditor to plan and execute audit engagements. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accountancy and at least 3 years of external audit experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential. Plan, lead, and execute audit engagements in compliance with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSAs) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Conduct risk assessments, perform fieldwork, and prepare audit documentation and financial statements.
Supervise and review the work of junior auditors, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to timelines.
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients in a professional and constructive manner.
Participate in special assignments such as internal audits, due diligence, and year-end stock counts.
Identify areas for process improvement and provide recommendations to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
Degree in Accountancy or a recognised professional qualification accredited by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
At least 3 years of experience in external audit, preferably with a reputable accounting firm.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to lead and mentor junior staff effectively.
