Bob Low & Company is seeking an Audit Semi Senior / Audit Associate to execute engagement tasks under supervision and perform assurance engagements in line with professional standards. The role involves documentation, identifying issues, and supporting tax and advisory services across corporate secretarial and insolvency areas.

You should have an accounting degree or professional qualification, at least 1 year of audit experience with mid-sized firms, and familiarity with Singapore accounting

Formación

• Degree in Accountancy or Business (Accountancy major) from recognised local or overseas university or professional qualification (ACCA/CPA).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant audit experience in a mid-sized firm.
• Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Standards on Auditing.
• Technical skills in FRS, Auditing Standards, BPA, Data collection/analysis, engagement completion and reporting, and risk assessment.

About the role

Audit Semi Senior / Audit Associate role involving execution of assigned engagement-related tasks under supervision, performing assurance engagements in compliance with professional standards, and documenting audit procedures. The role includes work across audit and assurance, tax compliance, accounting support, corporate secretarial, and advisory services including insolvency, voluntary liquidation, corporate rescue and turnaround support.

Key responsibilities

• Know your client's business and key risks
• Execute assigned engagement-related tasks under supervision
• Perform assurance engagement in compliance with professional standards (e.g. compliance assurance test on corporate entities)
• Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, audit client's engagement history, and planned audit approach
• Identify and propose solutions to significant accounting and auditing issues
• Review information accompanying the assurance report in accordance with applicable framework
• Support work in tax compliance, accounting, corporate secretarial, and advisory areas where applicable

About you

• Degree in Accountancy or Business (major in Accountancy) from recognised local or overseas university, or Accountancy Professional Qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA Australia). Candidates doing the last paper of their professional qualifications would be considered
• Minimum 1 year's relevant work experience in the audit field, with established mid-sized firms
• Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Standard of Auditing
• Technical skills in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Auditing and Assurance Standards, Business Process Analysis, Data Collection and Analysis, Engagement Completion and Reporting, Financial Statement Review, Professional Skepticism and Judgement, and Regulatory Risk Assessment
• Generic competencies in Teamwork, Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Analytical & Critical Mindset, and Problem Solving
• Familiarity with usage of accounting software, ISCA Auditing Programme, and Singapore Corporate Income Tax highly advantageous
• Familiarity with CCH ProSystem fx software for AI Solution
