Qualifications

• External audit experience of 5+ years in a mid-tier or large accounting firm.
• Experience in auditing funds including mutual funds and private equity.
• Well versed in accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, MAS).

Job description

Responsibilities

• Able to lead audit engagements, including planning, analysis of controls and processes, preparation and review of audit documentation, letters and reports
• Project managing assigned audit engagements throughout the process ensuring client deliverables are met
• Build long-term client relationships to develop new business opportunities in the Singapore market
• Managing client billing and ensuring adherence to budget timelines
• Working closely with the Audit Senior Manager and Audit Director to recruit, select develop and coach the Singapore audit team to ensure highest levels of output to clients
• To Supervise, train and mentor junior staff, assisting with their professional development and creating career advancement opportunities

Requirements

• A recognised degree in accountancy and professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent
• External audit experience of 5 years+ in a mid-tier or large accounting firm
• Extensive experience in auditing funds, including mutual funds, hedge funds and private equity
• Experience in working in Asset Management, Investment and Securitisation industries including working with Investment Funds and Special Purpose Vehicles ("SPVs")
• Well verse in accounting standards and regulation (e.g. IFRS, US GAAP, MAS)
