Job summary

HLB ATREDE STRB PAC in Singapore is seeking an independent, proactive audit associate to deliver high-quality statutory audits and a positive client experience.

You will collaborate with managers and teammates on client management and practice development, applying strong accounting knowledge and effective communication to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• CPA/CA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in accounting and auditing standards.

We are looking for an independent,responsible and pro‑active audit associate.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities includecollaborating with team members to deliver high quality statutory audits and delivering a positive client experience. You will work closely with managersand team members on client management and practice development.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent; CPA,CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent is highly desirable
• Strong technical accounting skills withproficiency in accounting and auditing standards
• Strong client service and communication skillswith a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding clientrelationships
• Build rapport and collaborate effectively withothers, creating a positive team environment
• Seek opportunities to learn and makeconstructive suggestions for improvements
• Respect various cultures and diversities
• Adapt communication style to meet the needs ofthe situation and targeted audience
• Ability to handle multiple engagements andcompeting priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive,results-based team environment
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, andproject management skills
• Strong computer skills including proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite and audit preparation software
• Proficiency in CaseWare is preferred
• Ability to work additional hours as needed andtravel to various client sites
• 0 to 2 years of progressive audit experience
