Job summary

Audtrust Assurance PAC is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring they meet deadlines and budgets. You will review working papers, supervise staff, and act as the primary client contact for audit and accounting matters.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience and ACCA or ISCA-recognised qualifications; Chartered Accountant of Singapore is an advantage.

Qualifications

• ACCA or accounting degree qualification recognised by ISCA, or Chartered Accountant of Singapore qualification is an advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience for assistant manager position.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute audit engagements from planning through completion within agreed deadlines and budgets.
• Review audit working papers prepared by senior and associates for accuracy, completeness and compliance with relevant requirement.
• Supervise and coach senior and associates staff.
• Manage multiple engagements, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Act as the day-to-day contact for clients, addressing audit, accounting and business-related matters.
• Identify and communicate audit findings, accounting issues and recommendations to clients and Partners/Manager.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Ensure compliance with the firm's quality control, professional and regulatory requirements.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignment assigned from time to time.
