Job summary

At Adler in Singapore is seeking an entry-level Accountant to support audit engagements and learn auditing practices. Fresh diploma holders or accounting graduates will assist Audit Seniors, gaining hands-on experience and pursuing Chartered Accountant qualifications.

You will participate in planning, documenting procedures, and delivering audits within client environments, while receiving on-the-job and off-the-job training from an Accredited Training Organisation.

Qualifications

• Fresh diploma holders or graduates in Accountancy.

Responsibilities

• Assist Audit Seniors in planning, executing and delivering assurance engagements.
• Document execution of audit procedures per objectives and engagement history.
• Carry out simple audit assignments.
• Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client environment.
• Work as a team member, sharing responsibility and keeping seniors updated on progress.
• Build cordial relationships with client personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Support and assist Audit Seniors in the planning, execution and delivery of assurance engagements
• Documenting the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, audit client's engagement history, and planned audit approach
• Carry out simple audit assignments provided
• Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the audit client's environment
• Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress
• Develop and maintain cordial working relationship with client personnel
