Job description

AV Support Engineer (1 year contract)

Working days: Monday - Friday

Working hours: 9am - 6pm

Location: Kallang Bahru (Near Bendemeer MRT)

Department : Technical & Services

Job duties:

1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting - Provide first- and second-line support for AV hardware and software issues.

2. Installation & Maintenance - Set up, configure, and test AV systems including projectors, microphones, speakers, displays, video walls, and conferencing equipment.

3. Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, and system health checks.

4. System Integration - Integrate AV systems with existing IT infrastructure (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Crestron, Extron).

5. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network compatibility and security.

6. Documentation & Inventory - Maintain accurate records of AV equipment, configurations, and support logs.

7. Document standard operating procedures and user guides.

8. Track inventory and coordinate procurement or repairs.

9. User Training & Support - Train employees or clients on how to use AV systems.

10. Provide on-site or remote support for meetings and events.

11. Event Support - Coordinate and support AV needs for internal and external events (e.g., town halls, webinars, board meetings).

12. Set up and test equipment before the event and provide live support as needed.

13. Quality Assurance & Compliance - Ensure systems are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.

14. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure performance and reliability.

15. Diagnose and resolve problems related to audio, video, control systems, and connectivity.

16. Assist users during live events, video conferences, and presentations.

Requirement

  • Preferable 1 - 2 year experience in Audio Visual Industry

  • Diploma or Degree in IT or relevant fields

  • To provide troubleshooting, conduct testing, and maintenance of hardware equipment, setting up AV equipment, managing user accounts, and resolving hardware-related issues.

  • Able to work on weekend to accomplish assign task.
