Job summary

EXCELTECH COMPUTERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an AV technician to operate, maintain and troubleshoot school AV equipment across classrooms, hall, auditorium and special rooms, including projectors, interactive panels, visualisers, PA systems, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, mixers and lighting.

You will set up and run AV for assemblies, concerts, sports days, prize-giving ceremonies, talks and livestreams, covering rehearsals, sound checks, recording and on-the-day technical support.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining educational AV equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve AV issues promptly.
• Familiarity with event setup and on-site technical support.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot the school's AV equipment in classrooms, hall, auditorium and special rooms.
• Set up and run AV for school events such as assemblies, concerts, sports days, prize-giving ceremonies, talks and livestreams, including rehearsals and recordings.
• Manage AV assets with tagging, inventory records, loan/return tracking, and regular stock-takes; dispose of end-of-life equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, report faults, coordinate with vendors for repairs, warranty claims, and new purchases; assist teachers with AV use in lessons.

Job description

Operate, maintain and troubleshoot the school's AV equipment, including projectors, interactive panels, visualisers, PA systems, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, mixers and lighting in classrooms, the hall, the auditorium and special rooms.

Set up and run AV for school events such as assemblies, concerts, sports days, prize-giving ceremonies, talks and livestreams. This covers rehearsals, sound checks, recording and on-the-day technical support.

Manage all AV assets, including tagging, inventory records, loan and return tracking, regular stock-takes, and disposal of equipment that has reached end of life. Keep asset registers accurate and ready for audit.

Do regular preventive maintenance and room checks, report faults, work with vendors on repairs, warranty claims and new purchases, and help teachers use AV equipment in lessons.
