Audio-Visual (AV) Engineer

Work Shifts:

Shift 1: 7 AM – 3 PM

Shift 2: 11 AM – 7 PM

Are you a passionate Audio-Visual Engineer with expertise in designing, installing, and maintaining AV systems? We are looking for a skilled professional to support live events, corporate presentations, and multimedia projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, install, configure, and maintain AV systems, including projectors, video walls, sound systems, and conferencing equipment.
• Operate and manage AV setups during live events, meetings, and corporate presentations.
• Diagnose and resolve audio, video, and lighting system issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with clients, IT teams, and event managers to tailor AV solutions to specific needs.
• Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and testing to ensure optimal system performance.
• Train staff on AV equipment usage and provide ongoing technical support.
• Manage AV inventory, including procurement, repairs, and replacements.
• Document system configurations, maintenance logs, and technical procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in AV system design, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of AV hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Experience in audio mixing, video editing, and live event production.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Extron).
• Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events.

Work Environment:

• The role may require onsite presence, travel to event locations, and occasional after-hours support.
• Physical demands include lifting equipment and working in varied environments.
