Job summary
A leading transportation service provider in Singapore is seeking a Technical Fleet Manager to ensure the maintenance and availability of the fleet. The role involves troubleshooting vehicle-related issues, managing budgets, and liaising with workshops. The ideal candidate should have a degree in engineering and relevant experience in vehicular systems. A minimum Class 3 driving license is required. Responsibilities
- Ensure proper maintenance and availability of the fleet for service.
- Troubleshoot vehicle-related issues for drivers.
- Monitor workshop repair turnaround times and minimize downtime.
- Liaise with CDGE workshop for repairs and servicing.
- Participate in vehicle-related incident investigations.
- Manage budgets and prepare monthly management reports.

Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the fleet is properly maintained, problem free and maximum availability to ply the road for fares. Ensure good customer experience when our drivers visit the workshop for preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve vehicle and other equipment related issues for our drivers.
- Monitor and ensure the workshop repair turnaround time is within the given KPI and minimize downtime.
- To liaise with CDGE workshop in repair and servicing.
- Participate in investigation of vehicle related mechanical and electrical incidents and pull up investigation finding report.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of vendors in provisioning of equipment and services to support the operation.
- Manage and prepare budgets, inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Also, to prepare monthly management reporting.
- Manage and maintain the technical systems within the taxis, including GPS, communication systems, and other onboard technology.
- Support the Technical Service Manager to lead the technical admin team relating to vehicle inspection, road tax renewal (Taxi/PHC).
Job Requirements
- Relevant experience is required
- Degree in engineering. Good knowledge of vehicular system and experience in motor workshop will be an advantage.
- Good interpersonal communication skills ie communicate with various stakeholders, including drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
- Min. Class 3 driving licence.
