Job description

1) Management of EP Equipment

  • Manage budget and funding for emergency preparedness (EP) equipment and consumables.

  • Oversee planning, procurement, and claims processes.

  • Collaborate with relevant departments for asset tracking, maintenance, and deployment readiness.

  • Review and update hospital crisis equipment requirements.

  • Serve as Point-of-Contact (POC) for audit and reporting activities.

2) Emergency Response Planning

  • Engage stakeholders in reviewing and updating SOPs.

  • Coordinate and integrate response SOPs.

  • Plan and conduct regular equipment fleet tests.

  • Organize and execute emergency preparedness exercises and drills.

3) Integrated General Hospital (IGH) Planning

  • Participate in planning workshops and ensure infrastructure needs for MCI/CE/NE are addressed.

  • Coordinate with planners and users for emergency response planning.

  • Identify and track EP equipment requirements.

  • Ensure timely procurement in line with project timelines.

4) Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide secretariat support for emergency planning meetings.

  • Support projects and initiatives related to MOH emergency preparedness

Requirements

• Min. Bachelor Degree in any discipline

• Min. 3 years’ work experience in healthcare industry

• Healthcare operational experience will be advantageous although not necessary

• Proficient in Microsoft Word / Excel / Powerpoint

• Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines

• Good analytical and organization skills
