Job description:

Position: Assistant/Manager (Facilities Management & Engineering Services)

Department: Infrastructure & Campus Development

Job Responsibilities:

As a senior facilities management personnel, you will lead and mentor the team in managing Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems and renovation projects across the hospital. Your role involves collaborating with End Users, In-house Service Partners and Contractors to strategically plan, coordinate and implement building and M&E projects alongside routine maintenance programmes. You will deliver technical expertise and engineering solutions whilst ensuring timely communication with management and stakeholders regarding project progress and challenges. The role includes identifying and evaluating improvement opportunities in projects and maintenance protocols to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, you will oversee and maintain the hospital's compliance with relevant legal requirements for building infrastructure and facilities.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or related disciplines
  2. Minimum 8 years' experience in building and M&E facilities planning and management, including at least 3 years in a managerial role
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  4. Strong capability in interpreting Architectural and M&E drawings
  5. Comprehensive knowledge of local Codes of Practice and Standards
  6. Substantial experience in Building/M&E project management and Building Management System maintenance is preferred
  7. Knowledge of BCA Green Mark certification and Green.Gov.SG requirements is advantageous
