Asst Finance Manager (AR/GL) - Education / Audit & Commercial Exp! #HHL

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the Director of Finance in financial reporting, GL, AR operations, and special projects.
2. Collaborate with budget holders on monthly and year-end closings, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
3. Manage the year-end audit process and ensure timely submission of audited financials.
4. Lead AR operations—billings, payment tracking, refunds, and event-related finances.
5. Prepare financial reports, presentations, and data insights for leadership and stakeholders.
6. Champion digital initiatives—develop and streamline finance/procurement templates.
7. Ensure policy and regulatory compliance (SOPs, tax, charity law, etc.).
8. Drive process improvements and participate in internal control reviews.
9. Stay updated on accounting standards and regulatory changes.
10. Foster clear and consistent communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

1. Minimum Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent.
2. Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in Singapore.
3. Strong hands-on experience in general ledger, AR, and statutory reporting.
4. Prior audit exposure and familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
5. Proficiency in ERP/finance systems and digital finance tools.
6. Meticulous, analytical, and strong stakeholder management skills.
7. Independent, adaptable, and proactive mindset.
