Job description:

Reporting to the Head of Patient Support Operations, you will lead the Patient Service Centre. This pivotal role involves operational management and continuous improvement of financial counselling services for patients admitted from various departments, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience throughout their care journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to achieve tertiary care excellence by collaborating with key hospital stakeholders, including the Business Office and Emergency Department, to integrate financial counselling and assistance services.
  • Oversee the implementation and support of various projects and services within the Patient Service Centre, focusing on enhancing accessibility to healthcare financing support.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure high standards of service delivery and financial counselling.
  • Develop and mentor staff within the department, providing guidance, performance coaching, and fostering a supportive work environment that encourages engagement and retention.
  • Drive hospital-wide initiatives aimed at improving patient experience and operational processes, serving as a change agent to promote teamwork and effective care delivery.
  • Lead revenue optimization and cost containment efforts to ensure efficient operations while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance Management or related
  • At least 8 years of working experience, of which at least 4 years in a managerial position.
  • Experienced in healthcare management, especially in the domain of healthcare operations.
  • Experience in leading a team and possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Candidates with prior experience in managing healthcare financial counselling teams and services will be advantageous.
