Associate Vice President - Finance and Legal

This role is for one of Weekday's clients located in Mumbai and requires a minimum of 10 years of experience. As a finance, accounting, and legal professional, you will play a crucial role in structuring the finance and accounting function for a Software as a Service business model. Your responsibilities will include financial planning, performance reporting, and analytics to support the growth of the business. You will be expected to serve as a reliable financial advisor to the CEO and board of directors, providing comprehensive investor reporting and leading ERP implementation and maintenance. Your expertise will be essential in transforming business goals into profitable outcomes and preparing the organization for potential IPO.Key responsibilities of this role include providing visibility into revenue forecasting, calculating essential KPIs, supporting enterprise sales with legal reviews, building economic models for market expansion, and designing measures to monitor sales efficiency. Additionally, you will be responsible for budgeting, financial controls, and processes across the organization.To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business management, finance, economics, or related fields. You must have 10 to 12 years of experience working in accounting, auditing, and investor relations within IT consulting, investment banking, or SaaS organizations. Proficiency in Excel, ERP implementations, CRM maintenance, and data visualization tools is required. A solid understanding of Enterprise SaaS products, KPIs, and business models is essential, along with the ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
