Associate, Trade Area Business Analyst Lead
Job Responsibilities
- Support the team as a Subject Matter Expert in managing Trade Finance related IT Projects.
- Participate in Project Management, including resolving User/System issues, managing vendors, resources, and project schedules.
- Facilitate system function and workflow design.
- Gather user and business requirements and perform gap analysis.
- Establish and introduce new work procedures and workarounds.
- Provide training to local and overseas users.
- Support User Acceptance Testing.
- Conduct studies to analyze system effectiveness.
- Liaise with end users, vendors, and Head Office on migration and project tasks.
- Assist in preparing system and operation manuals.
- Prepare reports for management and Head Office as required.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as bank staff in the Back-Office domain within the Trade area.
- Prior experience in implementing Package Systems (CGI) is advantageous.
- Experience handling the full Trade operation process, including L/C, export/import document check, interest acquisition, L/C endorsement, etc.
- Experience in collecting business requirements and standardizing workflows across entities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, precise documentation.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in creating BRD and FRD documents.
- Experience in data mapping, cleansing, migration support, and reconciliation.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Science or IT.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven team leadership experience.
- Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel within the APAC region.
- Knowledge of MS Access/RPA Programming is advantageous.
Preferred Certifications
- IIBA certifications: ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, AAC.
- PMI certifications: PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP.
- BCS certifications: Foundation Certificate, Diploma in Business Analysis.
