Job summary

Synapxe is seeking an observability engineer in Singapore to design, implement, and maintain ELK-based monitoring solutions. You will monitor distributed systems, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues while instrumenting applications for enhanced visibility.

You will develop dashboards and alerts for stakeholders, participate in incident response, and stay current with industry trends in observability. This contract role emphasizes reliability, performance, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of practical IT experience.
• Hands-on with modern observability tools preferred.
• Strong foundation in monitoring and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Requirements/ Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Min 3- 5 years equivalent practical experience in IT
• Hands-on experience with modern observability tools and frameworks is preferred but open to candidates with prior experience in monitoring solutions who are looking to transition into modern observability practices.
• Candidate should have a strong foundation in monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and data processing is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• 2 years contract
