Roles and Responsibilities
- Virtualization Platforms: Familiarity with tools like Nutanix, VMware, or Hyper-V is helpful, but you can learn on the job.
- Systems Administration: Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux is mandatory.
- Networking Basics: Understanding concepts like TCP/IP and firewalls is a good-to-have skill.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: You'll learn how to monitor cloud systems (like AWS and Azure) and perform maintenance tasks as you gain experience.
- Service Level Maintenance: Good to have knowledge in performing regular maintenance tasks to meet service level objectives.
- Documentation: Keeping records and following guidelines is important, and you’ll learn the best practices as you go.
- Ticketing Systems: Proficiency in using ticketing systems like ServiceNow and Jira is important for managing support queries and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of IT experience (Systems Engineering, Systems Administration - Windows, Linux).
- Diploma in Information Technology or relevant field.
- Confident in troubleshooting.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Innovative, proactive, and capable of working independently while collaborating with teams.
- This role requires 24/7 support, including morning, evening, night shifts, and weekend work, depending on operational needs.
- The position will be based in an office environment, with occasional remote troubleshooting responsibilities for interface connectivity issues.
