About the Role

In this role, you will be supporting the APAC UberEats business, putting you in a unique position with visibility across all sides of the business, allowing you to reach financial insights that others might not be able to make. In addition to driving and supporting our financial planning, forecasting, and analysis efforts, you’ll have the opportunity to turn these insights into initiatives, running with them and helping drive strategic decisions. You will also partner closely with Market GMs and Ops teams, and have responsibility and ownership over key work streams. What the Candidate Will Do
  1. As an Associate, you will partner with APAC UberEats GMs, Ops teams, and cross functional stakeholders to support the business & drive valuable analyses and insights.
  2. Work on building and maintaining key reporting and analytics infrastructure to up level the team’s analytical capabilities.
  3. Take ownership of various forecasting cadences and responsibilities.
  4. Develop business cases relating to new initiatives, products, and business opportunities.
  5. Collaborate closely with accounting to provide input on management reporting needs and better understand our actuals.
Basic Qualifications
  1. BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or similar
  2. Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Tier 1 accounting firms or operational FP&A at either a high-growth company or a large, well-established organization
  3. Elite Excel skills: Best practices are second-nature, your models are efficient, scalable and intuitive
  4. Attention to detail: consistent with swift execution
  5. Excellent communication and people skills: numbers are key, but a business is built with people
  6. Self-starter: You will take initiative, be dedicated, set and drive toward goals
Preferred Qualifications
  1. SQL skills: the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role
  2. Working knowledge of US GAAP
  3. CFA or CPA
  4. Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion is a bonus
