Job summary

Ensign InfoSecurity (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Associate Security Engineer to provide operational support and administration of core cybersecurity platforms at the client’s premises, including CyberArk PAM, RSA 2FA, and Microsoft PKI.

The role may expand to other IT infrastructure tasks; the successful candidate will gain guidance to develop competencies, perform after-hours maintenance, and contribute to security operations while coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related discipline.
• 1–2 years in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or technical support.
• Basic IAM/PAM concepts, authentication and access control.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux administration.
• Willingness to learn and grow across cyber, network, and system platforms.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform system health checks.
• Perform administration of the platform as SysAdmin, including account management.
• Perform OS, application and system patching and version upgrades (during and after normal office hours).
• Respond to system issues, alerts and errors, perform initial diagnostics, and resolve the issues; escalate as needed.
• Investigate and resolve CyberArk-related password, account and access issues.
• Remediate security vulnerability findings.
• Perform onboarding and offboarding of users, accounts and/or assets to CyberArk PAM and RSA 2FA; fulfill service requests and change requests.
• Track and renew SSL certificates (during or after normal office hours).
• Perform deployment of out-of-the-box CyberArk PAM Plug-ins / Connectors.
• Submit monthly operational reports.
• Maintain system and operational documentation.
• Support power maintenance, BCP and DR exercises.
• Be on standby after normal business hours, to attend to reported system issues.

Role Overview

The Associate Security Engineer will be responsible for providing operational support and administration of the client’s core cybersecurity platforms, including CyberArk PAM, RSA 2FA, and Microsoft PKI (collectively referred to as the “Core Platforms”), at the client’s premises.

As part of the role, the engineer may also be assigned operational responsibilities across other IT network, infrastructure, and system platforms, based on business requirements and within the individual’s capabilities and capacity. The engineer will be provided with appropriate time, guidance, and support to develop the necessary knowledge and competencies to take on these additional responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform system health checks

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, system administration, IT infrastructure, or technical support.
• Basic understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), authentication, and access control concepts.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems and basic system administration.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues systematically.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical competencies across cybersecurity, network, and system platforms.
• Good communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
• Willing to work at the client’s premises, perform scheduled after-hours maintenance, and participate in standby or on-call support when required.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Security+, or other cybersecurity certifications would be an advantage.
