Associate Sales Director - Relationship Manager (Preferred Banking Onshore)

Responsibilities

  1. Acquire qualified New-To-Bank customers through contacts, referrals from clients, and local business development activities.
  2. Procure new business via customer acquisition and manage relationships with existing clients.
  3. Engage other departments to generate referral opportunities.
  4. Stay current with economic and financial markets by attending training sessions to effectively address customer queries.
  5. Achieve individual sales targets for wealth management, treasury products, and insurance.
  6. Provide sound financial advice and customized solutions aligned with the bank's standards and industry regulations.
  7. Work towards the goals of Preferred Banking.
  8. Deliver client satisfaction through tailored solutions and resolve service issues.
  9. Maintain service standards set by the bank.

People Management & Skills

  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, with excellent selling, writing, presentation, negotiation, closing, and follow-up skills.
  • Committed to self-improvement and representing CIMB Preferred positively.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Comply with internal policies, procedures, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend all relevant training sessions.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in any discipline.
  • Relevant certifications such as CLI, CGI, HI, M1B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, and M9A.
  • At least 3 years of relevant sales experience in retail banking.

Technical/Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Service-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with outstanding sales abilities.
  • Strong writing, presentation, negotiation, closing, and follow-up skills.
  • Meticulous, approachable, helpful, patient, and a team player.
