Job Description

The Signature Research Programme in Health Services and Systems Research (HSSR) at Duke-NUS Medical School (Duke-NUS) in Singapore invites applications from outstanding candidates. Duke-NUS embodies a partnership between Duke University and National University of Singapore (NUS). It works closely with the Singapore Health Services (SingHealth) cluster, which is a network of national specialty disease centres, hospitals and polyclinics, to advance medicine and improve lives through cutting-edge research and education. The HSSR programme aims to advance the science in health services and systems research and build capacity to conduct and use health services research.

We invite applications for a research-track position based in Singapore at the rank of Associate Professor. Job title, salaries and benefits will be commensurate with the candidate's accomplishments and experiences.


Responsibilities

  • Manage content, design, and delivery for the HSSR Graduate Certificate in Health Services Innovation.
  • Establish and provide academic leadership for a related master's programme for Health Services Research.
  • Work with an established professional team to deliver broader education objectives for HSSR.
  • Develop a programme of research relevant to the work of HSSR.
  • Lead external engagement and contribute to the growth and development of HSSR.
  • Disseminate research findings at meetings, seminars and in peer-reviewed journals.

Qualifications

  • PhD in a discipline related to Health Services Research.
  • Prior experience leading and managing postgraduate education programs.
  • Prior experience of leading research projects.
  • Possess prior track record of competitive grants and funding.
  • Proven track record of academic publications and award recognitions.
