Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct due diligence of investment products and management of Approved Product List on behalf of clients who are Financial Advisory Firms regulated by MAS
  • Perform fund comparisons to provide fund recommendations for High Conviction Lists
  • Manage Model Portfolios, ensuring that the portfolios are aligned with investment objectives of clients
  • Reflecting the current market outlook, perform fund allocation adjustments to optimize returns and manage risks of the Model Portfolios
  • Contribute to the market commentaries and economic outlook
  • Conduct presentations, trainings and educational programmes for client’s Advisors to support the investment AUA business
  • Liaise with other stakeholders such as the Singlife Group Compliance to ensure regulatory requirements are met relating the above functional activities comply with regulatory requirements
  • Complete any other ad-hoc tasks/projects in a timely manner with enthusiasm and dedication as required

Requirements

Experience

  • Good oral and written presentation skills
  • Have relevant work experience in Investments preferably with a bank or a financial advisory firm in a sales advisory or research role
  • Analytical with problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and develop effective solutions
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented and have good understanding of economics and research material
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements

Education

  • Degree in Finance/ Economics/ Investments or equivalent
  • CMFAS, CFA, CFP certifications will be advantageous
  • Minimum 2 years in the investment or finance industry
