Private Equity (PE)

GIC has one of the largest and most diverse private equity portfolios globally, with an extensive network of over 100 active relationships with global fund managers, and direct investments in more than 1,000 companies worldwide. Our investments span across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, covering a diverse range of sectors, including Technology, Healthcare, Financial services, Business Services, Consumer, Industrials, and Sustainable Energy. GIC PE also invests across the capital structure, including equity, senior and junior debt, as well as in secondary PE deals, restructuring, opportunistic credit, and special situations.


The Global Investments, Strategy and Risk (GISR) group is based in Singapore and is at the forefront in supporting the PE CIO and senior management in developing investment strategy and evaluating investments. The GISR team comprises a diverse range of nationalities and backgrounds, including individuals with prior experience in investment banking, private equity, and consulting.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate to join the team in a generalist PE role, with a focus on private equity funds and co-investments. The role provides a unique opportunity to help shape the outlook for one of the largest private equity portfolios globally. The candidate will support senior colleagues in deal evaluation as well as on strategic projects.
This will be 3-year fixed-term programmatic hire (with full employment terms & benefits).


What you will do as an Associate:
•Evaluating deals: Collaborate with global deal teams to conduct diligence and underwriting of investment opportunities, with a focus on fund and co-investments. Your insights will help shape the investment recommendations presented to our CIO and the Investment Advisory Committee
•Driving strategic projects: Partner with the CIO, to craft and refine our PE investment strategy, including on portfolio construction, sector strategy, and performance management. This role has a focus on our global PE funds strategy.
