About the Role

The Office of Strategic Planning reports to the SUTD President and supports him in the formulation and implementation of SUTD’s key strategies and future plans. The Department plays a critical role in the university’s long-term competitiveness and sustainability.

As an Associate, you will support the team in carrying out research, coordination, and administrative duties that contribute to university-wide strategic planning and institutional development. You will report to the Chief Strategy Officer or assigned Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in background research and analysis on local and global developments relevant to SUTD’s strategies and future plans.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for strategic planning events such as stakeholder consultations, briefings, and internal workshops.
  • Help prepare materials, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders, including MOE and senior leadership.
  • Support data collection, documentation, and coordination tasks related to policy, performance review, and quality assurance.
  • Contribute to departmental operations, including meeting arrangements, document tracking, and internal communications.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in policy, education, research, or planning roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Meticulous and well-organised, with good time management.
  • Comfortable with handling ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to prepare reports and presentation decks.
