Title and Summary

Associate Managing Consultant, Advisors & Consulting Services, Marketing within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services leveraging expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

The Advisors Client Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Marketing consultants lead the strategy development and implementation of campaigns and engagements for clients, using customer data to provide deep direct marketing expertise across channels, evaluating campaign results, and optimizing marketing performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Client Impact
  • Manage deliverable development and multiple workstreams across various industries and problem statements
  • Contribute to marketing strategies and campaigns for large regional and global clients by working with technology and data
  • Manage relationships with client managers, acting as a trusted partner
  • Team Collaboration & Culture
    • Develop sound business recommendations and deliver effective client presentations
    • Plan, organize, and structure work, including that of junior project delivery consultants
    • Lead team and external meetings, co-lead project management
    • Collaborate with internal Mastercard stakeholders to build intellectual capital and develop solutions
    • Mentor junior consultants and enable ownership of project management

    Qualifications

    Basic qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree with experience in marketing and campaign projects in areas such as digital marketing, social media, end-to-end product launch, ad-tech, mar-tech, offline campaigns, media management, or direct response marketing
    • Experience managing tasks or workstreams collaboratively with third parties
    • Experience managing clients, stakeholders, and vendors
    • Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Effective communication skills in English and local language (if applicable)
    • Legal eligibility to work and travel as required

    Preferred qualifications

    • Additional experience in agency marketing, SEO/SEM, video content creation, usability research, print production, supply chain management, data visualization tools, solution development, or coaching
    • Industry expertise in product, sales, or marketing technology
    • MBA or master’s in marketing or digital fields (preferred but not required)
