Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) invites associates to teach the Unmanned Aerial System Operations course. You will deliver a weekly 3-hour lecture, and manage assessments in coordination with the course coordinator from the partner university to achieve desired student outcomes.
Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in aviation or a related field, with industry experience in airport master planning.
SIM is looking for associates who are dedicated, highly-motivated and possess a strong passion for teaching and shaping the minds of the young generation. Candidates will be expected to deliver the course content in a 3-hour lecture format on a weekly basis, and manage assessment marking within a given deadline. They will work closely with the course coordinator based in the partner university to achieve the desired students’ outcome.
This Unmanned Aerial System Operations course provides students with an overview on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and how they are operated in the segregated airspace. Both Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) operations are explored. The regulatory requirements are also explored to allow for safe operation and integration into the available airspace.

Classes are mostly conducted during weekday evening from 7.00pm to 10.00pm.
