Module Description:

This course addresses managing and processing extremely large data sets in both centralized and distributed computing systems. Topics include data warehouse technologies, architecture, design, and processing, as well as distributed processing with MapReduce. Students will learn about real-time analytical processing and work with commercial tools through hands-on exercises to meet Big Data challenges, including handling unstructured data.

Job Requirements:

• A Ph.D. or Master's Degree in a related discipline from a reputable university
